Click on Zip File not tracked

We have Zip files behind gates on our website.  We have been able to determien that the munchkin code sends the click of zip file to Marketo but Marketo aborts the connection.  We discovered this by performing an HTTP trace.  Is there reason why Zip files would not be captured in web activity tracking.  is there way to fix this?  Is this a bug?

Check with Support. It may be that zip files are restricted in some way by browsers.
