Changing campaign member status values in SFDC

I can't seem to find any documentation on this so hoping someone can help me out. If I deactivate campaign member statuses in SFDC, does that have any impact on historical data in Marketo? We no longer use these statuses in MKTO but may have in the past.

Hi Kymberlee,

It will have no contact on the past, but it might well block the synchonization of program members in the future if you use Marketo program-SFDC campaign sync and these programs are still in use and you still use these members statuses in the programs.

In other terms, to avoid problems, the program member statuses set by the channel should be the same as the campaign members statuses in SFDC.

What you can do is first hide these member statuses in the channels in Marketo (in admin-> tags ->channels)
