Change score using 'Segment Changes' trigger

We're using segmentations to score (as well as target) our customers according to certain characteristics.

The segment is determined by certain standard and custom salesforce fields.

However, when I try to use the 'Segment changes' trigger to try and adjust the score, sucha s when they move from one segment to another, it refuses to update the score.

Does someone know why this might be or an alternative way of accomplishing this?

For the segment changes trigger, did you add a contraint?

Hi Kim,

Thanks for replying. Yes, 2 constraints: occurs in past 6 minutes and what the new segment should be.

Hmmm I'd try it without the time constraint.

Segments are dynamic so it should work... make sure that your segments are ordered by priority within the segmentation.

Thanks, Kim.

I've tried it without and it still doens't work. Hmmm. I'm flummoxed.

Hi Rory  - did you ever resolve this? I'm experiencing a situation where I have a trigger set up on a segementation change.  My leads are changing segmentation correctly, but those segment changes aren't being logged in the activity log, so my trigger isn't firing.  I'm trying to figure out if this is expected behavior.

I am wondering if you ever solved this too...one of the things we are looking into doing is scoring based off of segmentation.
