Change Data Value - Updating Wrong Value

Earlier today I activated a smart campaign that pushed a list of leads into SFDC. I used the change data value flow step to update the "lead source" field in SFDC to "event" if that field was blank. However, any lead that had that field blank in SFDC was updated to 'web lead" instead of "event". Any idea why this happened?

A good way to tell what changed the value of something is by looking at the activity history for one of the affected records. You'll be able to see which Marketo campaign (it was SFDC if blank) changed the value to the one that is undesired.

Can you explain further? Are you referring to look in the lead's record in the lead database section?
