Change Data Value

I have followed the method mentioned in the link to change data value but the values are not changing https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000KysiCAC is there any alternate way to do this.

Make sure that the field is not blocked from updates. Use this article to check and add / remove limitations:
