When sending out a mass email (or a Sales email), is it possible to cc: someone?

On our Contacts in Salesforce, we have a custom field that contains the email address of the contact's assistant. Is it possible to send the email To: executive@example.com and CC: assistant@example.com? And if there is no email address to cc, it'll send as it normally does without a cc:.

You can't cc: someone when sending a mass email from Marketo or sending a sales email via Sales Insight in SFDC.
