Casting an email on a holiday? How do you handle it in the system?

We have a couple of Engagement programs running in various languages across many countries. There are a lot of holidays coming up in Europe, Bank holidays, Easter break etc. and the marketing team are suggesting we change the cast date each time a holiday pops up so that the email wont launch during the holiday.
This to me can be very tedious with a lot of programs running and is hard to keep track of when to change casts. What is your experience with this? Do you send emails on holidays regardless?
I have seen other discussions where people have said they still get good open rates.

Look forward to getting your feedback and help on this. :)

We send the emails regardless. We have many different types of programs running, and while it would be easy enough to change the cast date for a few engagement programs, our other programs that have different length wait steps would be severely impacted by a decision to avoid sending because of a holiday.

I would let a few go on holidays and review the performance 48-72 hours after... if you notice a serious drop in performance then consider shifting things for holidays, but typically I don't find it to be a problem.

I agree with Dory. Unless you pause for Dec 15-Jan 1 area, it will be hard to manage single holidays.

The other thing to keep in mind is that with mobile devices, lots of people will pay more attention to your emails on the holidays because they don't get work emails.
