Curious to know how others capture scores for conversations at a conference and other types of activities not directly tied to emails or forms?

We haven't had to get overly creative with anything like this just yet, but when we get business cards or badge scans, we import them like any other list and score based on the action. We also have different campaign statuses/interesting moments set up to make it clear to our reps what action was taken (e.g. conversation at booth vs attended conference).

We have program member statuses:
  • Invited
  • Attended Show
  • Visited Booth
  • Attended Targeted Speaking Session
  • Attended Company Event
  • Postitive Sales Interaction
When we import the list, we assign the member statuses based on what they did. A badge scan is "Visited Booth", business card is "Positive Sales Interaction." This information flows into our CRM so that the reps have visibility to the information.

You could create a custom field, and then store a score there for the conversation.

Thanks for the insight.
