Capturing Lead score of acquired lead at a point in time

Hello Marketo community,

I am working towards creating a lead scoring framework for various inbound and outbound marketing activity. In order to create an effective framework, I need to track or be able to see the lead score of a lead at a specific point in time.

EG - John Doe was acquired in January, and on 15th Feb his lead score was XYZ.

At the moment I can only track lead scores as they are on the current day. Would love any insight, or if anyone else has set up strong lead tracking reporting would love to hear from you too.

Unless you deliberately stamp the current lead score into another history field at certain intervals, the only way to get at old values is to use the API to check the Activity Log and then write data back to lead fields.

Note you can only look back 90 days in time (for the Change Score activity) using the API, though from what you're describing you want a more condensed interval anyway.
