capture 3rd party leads

Started at a new company and they currently have the same form for many CTAs on the website (not landing pages).  We are about to launch a LinkedIn campaign and one of the CTAs will be to download a free trial.  I can't really create a new LP since there is so much needed information I would have to squeeze in.  Is there a way to send the leads to our web page and be able to capture which ones came from LinkedIn and add to my program?

Sherin, is the current page where you are capturing peoples' information a Marketo landing page? If it is, you can accomplish this by updating the lead source in the URL builder of the landing page to LinkedIn and then adding lead source as a hidden field on your form.

There's some info missing from your description.  Is "the same form" a Marketo Forms 2.0 form using the embed code? (I hope so.)  If so, and if incoming links are always source-tagged (this could be standard UTM params or your own query-param-based tagging) you can always set a hidden field on your form from the source tag, as Frank mentions.

It's not on a marketo landing page (which is why I can't use the URL Builder) but it is a marketo form using an embed code (but not a Form 2.0).  Are there any resources on how to set up source-tagging?  Thanks for your help!

By source-tagged I mean making sure that cross-domain CTA links from site A to site B are tagged so site B knows where they came from (fundamentally equivalent to the referrer, though far more reliable across domains) and, optionally, more information about the campaign.

Say your link on site A contains utm_source=linkedin and the form on the site B LP has a hidden field Lead Source.  Lead Source is set in the Forms Editor to autofill from the query param utm_source. Simple as that.
