Does anyone know if the CAN-SPAM laws are different from US to Canada?  Any ideas where I could find this information out?

The Canadia anti-spam law is FISA (Fighting Internet and Wireless Spam Act - Bill C-28).  There is a nice document (The Marketer's Guide to Applying FISA) that is sponsored by ReturnPath and others that explains this.
