Can you add program statuses to the webinar channel when using GotoMeeting?

Is it safe to add additional program statuses to the webinar channel when integrating with GotoMeeting? We want to track opens and clicks as well as registrations, attendance etc, to make it easier to deal with non-openers, follow-ups etc.  But we don't want to break the integration with GotoMeeting, so I thought it best to check - is this safe?

I have not used the GTM integration but have used ReadyTalk and a few others -- based upon that, it should not be a problem. There are certain core statuses that the webinar vendor will update as part of the integration (Registered, Attended, etc.) and you can't mess with these. 

Adding new ones should be fine though. 

Some people have the invite campaigns as separate programs, with a success of acheiving a registration. That could also be something to consider.

Hi Justin,

Thanks for that.  I know we could have a separate program for the invitations but it seems that since we always want to measure these for webinars it makes more sense to add them to the webinar channel.
