Can we 'lock" our design templates?

Our design team creates landing page and email templates.  Is there a way to lock those down so that our Marketo users can't change them?  Untimately, I'd like the usres to be able to clone them, but just not change the original.

You can always remove the permission to edit or approve templates. But when you say templates, do you mean templates in the Design Studio, or the sample program folks are cloning off of?
