Can we change the SalesForce login name that we use to sync to Marketo?

If I sync by using the SalesForce login name@abc.com but later have to change the SalesForce login to name@xyz.com because of a company name change, can I still maintain the sync to that account?  What would I need to do to make sure it works smoothly?

Marketo Sync with Saleforce is based on the username, password and token. As soon as you change the username, the new token name and new password has to be provided for sync to start in Marketo.

Remember, if you reset the Salesforce.com password a token is issued and emailed to you therefore, the Marketo credentials will change ( u do it manually from "admin") to start the resync again.

To answer your question, the Marketo Sync will not work!

Olivia this happens all the time, you can maintain the sync, you'll just have to be sure to update the token name as Milind mentioned.
