Hello,

Do we have the option of " cc " in marketo email campaigns ? I have to send an email tomorrow & our VP Sales wants to be " CC " on this email so that he can follow up himself on interested people. Can we do that ?? Is it possible ?

Hey Swati,

Unfortunately right now, CC and BCC aren't possible to use in an outgoing Marketo email. A possible workaround would be to set your VP of Sales' email address as the "reply-to" address, that way if someone expresses interest via email, the default person they'll send an email to is your VP of sales. If that's an issue for visibility to the rest of the sales team, consider setting the reply-to address as a distribution list that all the necessary people are included on.

If you want to see CC/BCC functionality in Marketo, there already exists an idea in the community  that you can vote on:

Hope this helps!

You might also consider creating an alert email for your VP Sales (and anyone else) that's triggered by some interaction (showing interest) in the email. Optimally they'd go to a landing page to submit a form, and that would really show engagement activity that can be triggered off of.

Reply-to email address with some rules/logic to filter out auto-replies is a better option if your email is calling for a reply.

Did this fucntionality ever get fixed? The link above to the idea is broken and Im requiring CC functionality for audit purposes.

Hi Christina,
at the moment is CC/BCC not possible. Just search for ideas, there are a few which are about the CC topic.

Here is an example: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoIdeaDetail?id=08750000000HseiAAC

Thanks! I 'liked' it. Surprising that over 2 years and no functionality for this yet :(

Hi Christina,
always look to the status which is set by the product team. "Maybe one day" on this idea means, that it will not be implemented in the near future. "We like it" or of course "Working on it now" is better ;)

Best regards
