Can Marketo read from a Salesforce REPORT?

I have been told by our Salesforce Admin Agency in Norway that they think they have clients using Marketo/Salesforce who have the ability to connect directly to a Salesforce REPORT - is this possible/available functionality for me? if so, how does it work, how do we set it up?

Michael Collins​ I've never heard of this. What is the requirement you are trying to meet? I.e., where would the data from this report go and what would it do?

It is theoretically possible that an external app could pull data from a Salesforce report and then use the Marketo API to do something with the data in Marketo. But it seems like an awkward way to do something on first consideration.

Nothing directly from a Report in SFDC.

As @Justin Norris​ mentioned, the may perhaps be a 3rd party way to do this via APIs.

Here are the SFDC Objects that are available via Marketo to query.

Thanks guys,

it was a query about how we could easily get data from various objects that Marketo won't be able to see into Marketo as Leads. So the report would be set up in Salesforce able to join various objects and scheduled to run each day and any changes etc would be picked up by Marketo.

I think we've found a solution by using the Campaign object actually - they can do something similar and populate various campaigns with the members...
