Can I schedule when Marketo syncs with Salesforce?

The Director of Sales approached me today asking if we can limit when Marketo/Salesforce sync, optimally doing it at night. Apparently the constant syncing is slowing down the work the sales team is doing.

Is it possible to only schedule a sync one or two times per day?

Alex,

We can change change your sync interval in support, currently the default is 5min.  The caviat is slower updates relative to your desired delay. Log your request on the web portal and we'll get you set up.

    Can you find out more about why this is "slowing down sales"? How are you currently placing leads in front of them?

    By looking at your question, I am sensing that this is not an issue with the timing when Marketo sync with SFDC. It's more about how you have aligned your marketing and sales system. Is the question about getting too many leads in one day assigned to the same person? If so there are several things that you have to do to make sure only qualified leads will be assigned to sales team.
