Can I access content from Marketo via REST API?

At the moment we are evaluating Marketo's API  - you can extract/read leads, lists and campaign skeleton data.

Is it possible to extract content/contentpieces from within campaigns via REST API?

I don't know about the REST, but you can insert content and maybe extract too. See Perkuto's Digesto RSS to Email system.

I played around with the REST API already - it seems one can read leads, lists, but no content of campaigns directly. The campaign-REST-API only extracts metadata about campaigns. I'd love to extract the content of certain campaign element to enrich them in external systems - I'm looking for a convenient way to do this and need a way to extract content, process it in my system and reimport it into Marketo campaigns.

In addition to the remarks above: is it possible to provide contents of an email template or landing page via API?

There is no API call to extract content, sadly.

We have an Asset API in beta that would enable this usecase.
