Can I A/B test an email in a trigger campaign?

Hello

We have a trigger campaign in place, so that when people fill out our "request a demonstration" form they are automatically sent an email to thank them. We want to split test the email they get sent. Is this possible since it's a trigger campaign already?

You can use the Champion/Challenger A/B testing in this instance. The Champion is the email already in your trigger campaign and the email you're testing (body, subj line, etc) would be the challenger. After a set amount of time that you decide you could declare a winner.

Yes you can. Keep the same smartlist, but use "add choice" in your flow.

If you want to conduct A/B testing in trigger campaign, you can archive this by using Champion/Challenger. it only possible in trigger campaign not with batch campaigns.
