Can a Form Submission create a custom object, rather than a lead?

We are trying to develop a workflow whereby a customer at our accounts can fill out a Marketo form, and that form would create a custom workorder object in Salesforce, rather than a lead. 

Is this possible, or can forms only create lead records?

Lauren, Salesforce custom objects are read-only in Marketo. If you want to populate them, you'll need to do this in Salesforce. Maybe you could use Webhook to post information to a form hosted on Force.com which will save the data in the custom object in Salesforce, which will then sync down into Marketo?

Thanks for the suggestion - perhaps we will try that! We might also just try transferring the information from the lead record to a custom object once it's already in Salesforce.
