Campaign to populate account email Domain Name

Has anyone come up with a campaign that can find email domain from contacts and populate it on a related account in salesforce?  Once an opportunity has been created I would like to find the email domain of all the other leads and change a lead type and flag the lead for different campiang messages.  We also want to conver all those leads to the account that was created when the lead was converted.  The best way to find those leads I think is from the Email Domain.

    If you're using Salesforce, you can get the email domain using a custom formula field (https://success.salesforce.com/answers?id=90630000000gi8EAAQ), but Marketo cannot do field comparisons. May be a way to do this in SFDC with workflows, but not sure if Marketo can do it.

    This is interesting, however I want to add this to the Account ie Account Email Domain.  I wonder if I could do a workflow formula, and apply the formula from the contact and then populate the doamin on the acccount record.
