Campaign based on Opportunities in SalesForce

Hello
We are running a campaign based around opportunities created in SalesForce.  When a prospect clicks through on the email, we would like to assign the SFDC task to the opportunity owner, however there is not an option to do this.  Has anyone tried to create a task similar? if so, is there a workaround we are not thinking of?

Erin, I believe this can be accomplished via a workflow in Salesforce.

Create a formula checkbox on the Opportunity object that looks at the email click activity on the Primary Contact. When there's a positive hit, generate a task to assign to the Opportunity owner.
