calculations SalesForce - Marketo

Hi!

This is very important to me and hopefully somebody knows the right anser to that.

I have 3 fields in SalesForce. These are number formula fields. I need to combine them all into one field. I can`t do that is SalesForce because each formula fields allows max 5000 characters. (these 3 fields together have around 13000 characters)

So i need marketo to be able to add those 3 fields (numeric) together. How can i do that?

As far as I know Marketo will not allow you to do formulas in the fields yet, it is a requested feature.

Thanks Jeffrey,

I wasn`t aware of that! 

But when you go to Admin => Field Managment => New Custom Field, Type => Formula

Is this not how a new formula field is being created? Or am I  missing something. I am not quite familiar with that.

Yes, that is confusing. The forumula field that you are looking at allow you to update a field based on a number of constraints.

Unless, something had changed I beleive that field does not allow you to build true formulas
