Question

Built a modal/overlay for a landing page form

My company is launching a new website in the near future, and asked if the Marketo landing page and/or landing page form could be loaded into a modal or overlay to make the user exerience more fluid and help them get back to the original page they were on.

Anyone have any luck with this or use an alternate way of taking a visitor to a landing page and form and bringing them back to where they started?

This is possible. Check out this developer blog post that walks through embedding a form that appears as a modal (lightbox in Marketo terminology), and hides after submitting.

Thank Murtza,

This is a great start.  I'll follow up if our developer has any questions.

Orangebox is a slick and easy integration for a lightbox use.  Just have to add the scripts in the head and add a "rel=" in the link tag.

I use it for playing YouTube videos and other stuff on Marketo landing pages.

Question, though. Does this still work (using Lightbox code) if you have the action on submit going to a Thank You Page?

We will soon be rolling this out on PRNewswire.com

Let me see if I can provide more details shortly!
