Browser Time Out

Everytime I login to Marketo, the browser appears to login then screen refreshes and it says:

Browser Time Out in red and I have to relog in, very annoying that I have to log in twice everytime.

Apple Mac - OS X 10.8.4
Browser - Google Chrome Version 31

Marketo times out after 4 hours of inactivity. A time out immediately after login is likely to be caching problem.

I also use Chrome 31 on Mac OS X:

Please logout Marketo, select Settings - Advanced - Clear browsing Data and then retry.

This works as long as I use the log out button each time and not the normal x that just closes the window.
