BrightTalk registration and attendance numbers do not match with Marketo

Hi,

Anyone managing webcast with BrightTalk having issues with matching the numbers reported in BrightTalk and Marketo?

We cannot get the number for live and on-demand attendance to match, which is strange.

Hi Ronald,

We too have the Marketo connector synched with BrightTalk and encounter the same issue. We've raised this with BrightTalk numerous times and have been told it is an issue with the connector which they are rectifying by developing their own.

On top of solving this issue it will also have better channel level synchronisation - any audience member from a channel will be synced - without the need to configure a new “Event Adapter” for each webinar. As well as  removing timing restrictions on synchronisation of pre-registrations - these will now be transferred to Marketo irrespective of when the webinar takes place.
