Block Users from Importing Lists

Although I edit the user role to not include advanced list import, I am still seeing those users able to import lists. Is there a way to change this?

You should turn off all list imports for that User Role.

It may make sense to create a new Role and add only the capabilities you want that group to have to ensure it works. Then remove those users from the Old Role and add them to the new Role.
