Block Updates to a Field

Hello guys,

Just to make sure, if I have a Marketo form on a website with the following Hidden Fields:

- utm_source

- Other_source

- utm_region

- Lead Source

BUT, I blocked all fields updates. Will the value anyway fill in if the lead is new to the database and therefore, has all these fields empty?

The field will be populated if the lead is new and the field is currently empty, yes.  If the field is blocked from updates on forms, and the lead fills out the form again later, the values will not be changed since that counts as an update and therefore is blocked.
