Block rectangles around images on landing page in IE

For some reason, my landing page is displaying each image with a blue rectangle surrouding it in Internet Explorer (not having this problem in Mozilla or Chrome). Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions/tips on how to get rid of this?

Here's an example of what I am talking about (blue boxes around each image):
