Block Field Updates on Salesforce Sync

Hello,

I want to block my Salesforce users and the sync of a field from overwriting the field in Marketo. If I block the field from updating using the checkbox for "Salesforce Sync" does that block field updates from Salesforce to Marketo or just Marketo to SFDC, or both? I would prefer the Marketo field to be the true record which cannot be changed by SFDC.  The field in question is my unsubscribe field in Marketo which is being overwritten and changed by SFDC.  Thanks,

Yes, this should work.
This is a known issue and if you check other threads you should find a solution.
