Best way to track a large number of leads?

I want to track a certain number of leads that is thrown into a big pool from start to finish.

Let's say I upload a new list of 100 new leads. However it is thrown into the pool of 100,000 leads. What is the best way to track those 100 leads when using a smart list? What field should I use when I upload the list from a excel file into Marketo, if I give it a unique name to those 100 leads?

I would just give them a separate list. If you want to add them into the same list as the other 100k, you can, but then you could also add them to a different list for tracking purposes. The same leads would then be in both the larger list and the smaller list.

Grant means Static List...but you should end up with one anyway as long as you import via list.

This also depends a lot on what else you want to track about these leads:

-Stage?

-Revenue?

-By Program?

I would say by email program. For example, out of the 100 leads I want to track, I want to see how many of those bounced and be able to pull those emails into a list.
