Best Dedupe Tool for Marketo & SFDC

DemandTools!!! It's only a de-dupe tools for SFDC, but the merged Leads and Contacts are also reflected in Marketo.

It allows you to create custom de-duplication scenarios to fit your database, which is why we went with it.

RingLead is the tool that we use adn we love it.

The guys that make demandtools have a salesforce plug-in called dupeblocker. They both rock. If you are a SFDC admin and haven't looked at DemandTools, you really should take a look at it.

I second the Demand Tools vote. It is a dream come true, especially when it comes to updating SFDC records. It gets you super comfortable with your data. Once you create your scenarios, mentioned above, you can save them and run them over and over to save time. It's.so.good.

We use Ringlead as well. It's a great too that works in both SFDC and Marketo. Within Marketo they can setup a webhook that works like a charm and within SFDC it ensures your teams are not creating new Leads or Contacts that already exist (based on more criteria than just email) as well as checks if there is an existing account that a Lead should be merged into. I've used this tool at 2 companies now and work well. 

I am new to Marketo but the best de-duping tool I used in the past was CRM Fusiion. It offers impressive selection of choices and is easy to use once you figure it out!

CRM Fusion makes Demand Tools and Dupeblocker.

Here's how I do this:

1. Dupeblocker in SFDC to prevent salespeople from adding dupes.
2. Demand Tools or RingLead to clean up the database regularly.

I have been using Ringlead's webhook to dedup leads via forms beyond the standard Marketo email dedup. Easy to setup and works like a charm. Have heard great things about Demand tools from my SF Admins that use that for cleanup within SF.

We use Dupeblocker as well, and like the results!
