Question

BCC one email program

For regulatory reasons we need to send an exact copy of an email sent to an individual to another inbox.

This includes several tokens.

Is there a way to BCC just this email?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you explain if you want to send the email to one individual or to some people?

The email will be drop fed to a large group and will be triggered by a data value change.

Hi @Simone Toit,

Do you mean, you want to have a copy of the email sent to another inbox but containing the token values that were used to send the email to original receiver? So, an exact copy of what someone else was sent?

Thanks,

Gerard

Hi Simone,

What you can do in this case is use the Send Alert functionality but simply add the same email message as the one you're sending as the "alert". From there you can determine who you want to "BCC"--though it's a faux method, it's functionally identical.

We encountered a similar issue with compliance BCC, and we were able to  overcome it by reaching out to our Marketo technical representative. Assuming you want to BCC every email from Marketo, you will need someone at Marketo to setup the BCC on the backend for you. Here is a community article supporting my response: BCC Options

Again, this is a solution to BCC ALL emails out of Marketo.
