BCC field / Trustpilot AFS

Trustpilot uses a unique email address placed in a bcc field to pick up the customer email. BCC in marketo seems to apply the unique email to ALL email sends, not specific campaigns/programs from what I undestand.

I’m hoping that there is a solution someone has found…!?

We’re currently still using TP via our old email set up, but we are looking to phase that out..

Any suggestions/advice welcome - thank you in advance!

    BCC is BCC-all, yes. It’s designed for compliance and archival scenarios.

     

    In contrast, the CC feature is per-email, but it exposes the CC address to the original recipient, like a standard CC. If you’re okay with someone seeing the email also went to customer_22387@trustpilot.com or whatever, you can presumably use that.

     

    There’s no other built-in feature in Marketo Engage that lets you copy another address only for specific emails.

    P.S Yes API’s are available however that increases our plan cost, massively

    Thanks for confirming - I have since found out there is another solution from Trustpilot without utilizing BCC, which I think may work!

    The structured data approach will work with Send Alert, yes.
