B2C Modeler

We are a B2C company and many times our prospects go from anonymous to a paying customer. For example, an anonymous person can come to our site, and by filling out a form with their credit card information they become a paid member.
What is the best way to account for this in the lifecycle modeler?
Does an anonymous person have to move to the lead stage before moving into the correct stage or can it go directly into the paid member stage towards the end of the modeler?

Hey Amy,

The Modeler requires that leads move into the known stage prior to moving to a further stage, so you will need to account for this in your lifecycle.

Anonymous>Known automatically once email address is known.

The next question is, how do you model your lifecycle? If they pay, they go from Known to Paid? or Known > Member?

It's up to you. If you need to then include repeat purchases, you can do that too.
