Autofill a Field With a Number Based on a Formula

I'm wondering if there is a way to auto-fill one field with a formula based on values in other fields.

In other words, if someone fills out a form and says they need to ship 20 boxes, can we return an estimated cost by plugging that 20 into a formula in Marketo and then give an estimated cost that is derived from the formula and stored in another field?

This would be easier to do as a javascript or jquery or via a shipping calculator plugin for your site. Otherwise it may be very slow to pass the value back to the buyer.

Definitely do this form-side like Josh said. Unless there is some super-secret formula that you don't want to show in view-source.

Hi,

I know it's a question from 2015, but have you checked: CALCITNOW - Field formula calculations – Marketo LaunchPoint

It will solve it for you. Though sync interval is 5 minutes, which means you will need to wait more than 5 minutes to send the email with the formula result. Please PM if you require a faster interval.
