Approve downloads from a form

Hi,

We are looking to approve whitepaper downloads on a case by case basis. Is there a way to do this? Currently, I have a form on a landing pages that triggers an email with a link to the form.  These automatically go out, but is there a way to stop the flow

I know one way is to create a domain smartlst to block, but that is difficult to list all of the domains.  Has anyone had to do this?

Thank you!
Crystal

Hi Crystal,

Can you tell us more about whom you want to block? For blocking competing domain or personal domain addresses, you can do this either by:
  • javascript (there is some code here: test.hollebone.ca or just do a search on the community)
  • Smart List filter on the email trigger.
  • Holding Queue

For the Smart List Trigger, just create a Smart List "Competitors" and then drag that below the Fills Out Form trigger. That should block a bunch of people.

For the Holding Queue, you can let anyone sign up, but all of those leads end up in a SFDC Queue or just in a smart list/member of program. Then you can remove some of those people using a Competitor smart list or by hand. Then you can run a batch email to send out the link.

Hi Josh,

The holding queue sounds like the best solution. Thank you for the response!

Do you know the best way to set up a holding queue?

Best,
Crystal

You can setup a Queue in SFDC and route those leads to that Queue.
