API: Metadata returned on getMObjects

According to the documentation, we can use getMObjects get a list of all programs in an instance along with the program metadata. I am wondering what the metadata is comprised of. Will the operation give the complete hierarchy of any email programs, lists, emails, campaigns etc. that might be underneath a particular program?
