Question

Anyone use a WordPress widget to spit out HTML code for Marketo emails?

We just hired a new managing editor. He says that at his old publication, there was a WordPress plug-in — like this —  that he could use to quickly grab blocks of text/image from blog posts, then push out the HTML code which he'd give to Marketing to send out through their email marketing platform.

Anyone do something like this? Any issues with the code not being mobile-friendly?

Or have other ideas on how to quickly produce a daily email newsletter from existing content?

We do ours differently, our bi-weekly blog content which is on WordPress is powered by Digesto, and is delivered by Marketo. Digesto pulls the headline and first paragraph from our website and the email goes out twice or 3 times a week depending on if there's new content posted posted to the site.  Our newsfeeds are also powered by Digesto.
