any implications of changing the timezone in your MKTO instance?

Datetimes are always stored the same way (UTC or US CST depending on the part of the platform). The timezone is used for display.

It does not affect if you are just creating programs or events at different GEO locations, but it is recommended to first change the time zone in your Marketo instance and schedule your smart campaigns associated with your programs. Sometimes due to the daylight savings, It may happen that by mistake you deploy the campaigns at wrong time with respect to the event/webinar/program local time zone.
