Anonymous leads issue

Hi everyone,

I've run into an issue with a smart campaign, which should update the program status when a lead visits the landing page.

I have an instance where the status against a known lead has failed to update with the following error message:

"Skipped Cannot add an anonymous lead to a program"

As I mentioned before, the lead is know, and is not anonymous.

Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Robert, I would move this question to Product Discussions, where more people are likely to answer.

When you're seeing this issue, is the skipped step appearing prior to the form fillout and the lead becoming known? Or is it after the fact? If it's afterwards, I would reach out to support, but it's possible that Marketo is backfilling some of this history for the record once it becomes known.
