Allow the "send immediately" functionality of a report subscription to run in the background

Reports take way too long to run in Marketo. Luckily, there's a handy subscription feature that lets you just set up a subscription to get the report later. Marketo even includes a "send now" feature for a subscription. Handy dandy! But no, it's actually a huge pain right now, because it puts up an obtrusive loading window forcing me to wait for the report email to send before I can do anything else in Marketo. And of course, this takes basically as long as just sitting around waiting for the report itself to run.

This "sending report email" should run in the background, like a list export, so that I can basically tell Marketo to send me the report once it is ready, and go back to what I was doing. Waiting around for a report to run is inconvenient, but waiting around for Marketo to close a dialog box telling me it will send the report is mildly infuriating.

It's a quality of life thing, but this alone would ensure I don't throw my hands up in frustration every time I need to use a report.
