alert when a lead has attended

we have an event this week, we are using the marketo app when someone arrives to the venue they will check in. we want our lead owner to be notified when they arrive. how can we set this up?

Hi Deanna, at check-in you can set their program member status for this event to attended. This can then trigger an e-mail alert to the lead owner.

Thanks but how do I set this up for a specific guests when they arrive the lead owner gets the email and I do also.

Sure, based on the following assumptions,

1. You have a Marketo Program for this event.

2. In this Program, you create the Smart Campaign with trigger setup as per above.

3. You have an e-mail asset built to serve as the notification.

You can in the flow steps (of the Smart Campaign in assumption 2 above), then setup this. (set e-mail to the asset in assumption 3 above).

On Event Day, go into Lead Database. You will click on the attendee and then Lead Actions - > Programs -> Change Program Status which will bring you to the page below.

Click Run Now, and then you will change the status, which will trigger the e-mail.
