Alert email not being sent to sales owner

We're running a campaign for marketing qualified leads within our lead lifecycle program, and one of our steps seems to be wrong. The flow of the campaign is to change the lead status to MQL, datestamp the lead and then change the owner to a round-robin for our SDR team.

Then, we gave Marketo a 1 minute wait time to process the info and then send an alert to the Sales Owner (assigned in flow step 3) and other members of our team.

However, the Sales Owner isn't receiving any alert emails - any ideas why?

Is this a trigger campaign?

You should allow 15+ mins for SFDC to route the lead to the person. Are you sure Sales Owner is a valid field? Usually it is Lead Owner or Account Owner.

Is the lead getting to the correct owner?

It is a trigger campaign. The lead is getting routed to the right person, and if I click the SFDC Detail link in the email, it lists the correct owner without a delay. The owner just isn't getting the alert and there are no other options for "send to" in our Send Alert besides None/Sales Owner/Account Owner:

I agree with Josh. You should check your fields in both SFDC and Mkto to make sure that 'Sales Owner" is a real thing and that it's getting populated. Do a bit of testing. Swap the 'Send To:' field with 'Account Owner' and test the alert. If the Account Owner gets the alert then you might assume that Sales Owner isn't valid.
