Add a form dropdown that supports multi selection

We have a form with varies multi select forms which are currently radio buttons, to reduce the size of the form and improve the styling we are wanting to add the multi selection as a dropdown. Are we able to support this functionality by customising the form?

<select multiple> is already supported in Form Editor. Just check "multiple selections" (if memory serves).
