Abort Email Program During A/B Test - Before Winner Send?

Sure this has been beaten to death but I can't find a clear answer. I'm using the 'new' email program to send an email, and it is currently waiting 24 hours on an A/B test results before deploying the remaining. I'd like to ABORT the winner send, because we've had a timeline shift. I can UNAPPROVE the program, but does that also stop the A/B test from sending the winner?

It should no longer send out any emails after you abort it regardless of it's A/B testing or regular sends.  However, if it's in the middle of sending emails whether it's an A/B test or not, you won't be able to gauge what has already been sent and won't be able to control that.
