Ability to search for Sync to CRM Errors (error in sync criteria)

Finding and fixing broken records is always high priority for our team. What we have difficulty with is finding criteria to use when searching for lead records who's sync to SFDC (or any other CRM) has failed. There's the "Not Synced to Salesforce" criteria, but that doesn't cover an attempted sync and error code. Having this option (especially with constraints to narrow down on the reason) would be incredibly helpful for data clean up.

And also, on the same domain :

Yes a log of sync faillures would be helpful.

I currently use SFDC Type is Empty to identify leads have have never synced to SalesForce.  Something as simple as an invalid email address can cause that initial sync to fail.

Hi Joe,

The ones that never sync'ed are the easier to spot. We really need this idea implemented, and also this one :

In fact, what we need here is a "lead was not synced" filter (and possibly a similar trigger), with some structured reasons such as:

  • Validation rules
  • Record filtered
  • record deleted
  • ...

And a detailed field that could be searched using "contains" filters.

if this is not possible, at minimum, we would need the activity detail to be available as a constraint on the "Lead Was Synced to SFDC" filter.
