Ability for clients to add colleagues to mailing list?

We've had a few emails from clients asking to add colleagues to the mailing list we have...is their a built in solution to allow users to click on a link and add in colleagues/friends?

I would look up some of the referral program ideas within the community. It's not a referral, per se, but I imagine the program itself would work in a similar fashion (ie: a user send over someone else's contact information).
