A/B Testing Whole Landing Pages and UTM Parameters

We are planning to do a Landing Page Test Group testing out 2 versions of a landing page, from my understanding the URL will be the URL of the first landing page in the test group and once someone accesses the link they will be shown 1 of the 2 versions of the landing page at random. I am wondering if we could still use utm parameters like any other link for the test group URLs and that cause any issues for the A/B testing. Mostly using the utm parameters to track promo channel.
