A/B Testing for HTML vs Text Emails

Wondering if anyone has tried to run A/B testing for emails that are HTML vs Text?  We recently did this test and no one clicked on the text email. We are thinking this is a little odd - any ideas why this would be?

Text emails cannot track clicked links. You have to send an HTML message if you want to track click activity.

As a work around, you can probably do a multipart (HTML/Text version) email and test the link clicks on the HTML, and do another test just on a text-only version of the email to test the link clicks.  See the instructions on how to track the link clicks on the text-only version.

Joe, good catch on that article saying no tracking. I'll let folks know, because we do have a way now (which Michelle references).
